After two great years as a postdoc in Linda’s lab, and as a coordinator of the StochSS development, I am now back at Uppsala University as a senior lecturer at the division of Scientific Computing at the Department of Information Technology. I will continue to work on StochSS from the Uppsala node, and we will primarily be concerned with development of methods for spatial stochastic simulations. To this end, I am currently working on a new Pyhton API for the URDME framework.
As I am building up my group in Uppsala, potential candidates for PhD projects, MSc thesis projects and postdoc positions are more than welcome to contact me to discuss opportunities to join the group in Uppsala and work on exciting problems in computational systems biology!
